Congrats to Stephen on his retirement after 30+ years serving the Craterian Theater and our community. The complete remodel of the theater still stands as one of ORW's signature projects decades later.

It has been three years since we opened our Bend office and one year in our current location in downtown. Our current space allows us to express one of the key tenets held by ORW, to engage and support a thriving cultural and business “heart” of the communities we serve.

Our local team is excited to be part of the vibrant texture of downtown Bend!

Last week, we celebrated the ribbon cutting and substantial completion of the Klamath County Crimson R.O.S.E. program building; a space designed to heal, nurture, and empower. This innovative facility for Klamath County Juvenile Services, in partnership with Oregon Youth Authority and The Department of Health and Human Services, brings together counseling, education, recreation, and creative therapies under one roof. With biophilic design, natural light, and spaces for reflection and growth, Crimson R.O.S.E. is now ready to support resilience, opportunity, and transformation for young women in our community.

Steel is rising and so is our excitement! Construction at the Multi-Use Pandemic Response Center is moving forward as more of the pre-manufactured metal structure takes shape on site. Thanks to the continued efforts of Adroit Construction and Western Steel, the building’s impressive framework is quickly coming together - bringing us one step closer to a multipurpose space designed to serve and inspire the community. Stay tuned as we reach new heights!

Located on East Main Street, the new Addiction Recovery Center’s Withdrawal Management Expansion project is an extension to the Fresh Start Withdrawal Management Program to improve access to the inpatient and outpatient services, doubling the existing program capacity. The project includes site development and a new building to support these vital services. This project is truly truly focused on making a positive impact on the health of the community.

ORW Architecture appreciates the opportunity to be able to design this wonderful facility in collaboration with the Owner and our team of consultants -

Addiction Recovery Center - Owner
Powell Engineering + Consulting - Civil Engineer
- Landscape Architect
C***a Engineering PC - Structural Engineer
Colebreit Engineering + Axiom Engineering - MEP Consultants and
- General Contractor and Construction Manager (CMGC)

The construction for an approximately 10,500 sq.ft single story structure housing patient rooms with nursing stations, outpatient services, office spaces, and support spaces is now complete and the facility is in operation. Its always great to see the designs come to life.

ORW Architecture and Opsis are thrilled to share that visitors to Medford’s annual Art in Bloom Festival have honored Rogue Community College’s Science Center on the Redwood Campus in Grants Pass with a 2025 AIA Oregon, Southern Oregon People’s Choice Award! This new building is a forward-thinking STEM facility that inspires exploration and innovation. Spanning 18,000 square feet, it replaces the outdated Elk Hall and centralizes science instruction for students across RCC’s regional campuses. The layout thoughtfully places science labs, faculty offices, student commons, and flexible classrooms around a centralized lab prep core. This design fosters operational efficiency and encourages informal collaboration between students and faculty.
