Starting at $20.00 per hour
Some experience a plus, but willing to train the right person in a long term Trade Career.
Must have good work ethic, be willing to learn, have a positive attitude, be safety conscious, dependable and good attendance is required.
This position is offered as probationary period of 30 days. At that point, there will be a performance review and compensated accordingly.
The job duties of a general laborer vary. Job duties may include setting up and taking down ladders and or scaffolding, tear off of old roofing materials, prepping the roof for new materials to be installed, cleaning of the job site grounds and gutters.
Employees will use a variety of tools and machines such as blowtorches, forklifts, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.
We will train in Residential and Commercial Roofing projects.
Must:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Have reliable transportation to work daily.
- Be able to carry out oral and written instructions.
- Be able to operate basic power tools safely.
- Be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Prefer:
- a valid Driver's License.
- Some construction experience.
