It is with great sadness that we report the passing of our inspirational member and dear friend Kathy Allen. She died peacefully at home last Monday surrounded by family. Her garden and nursery were well known regionally and nationally. In his book "Rock Gardening, Reimagining a Classic Style" Joseph Tychonievich described her garden as "a low tapestry of incredible plants." Her kindness, generosity, and humility will be greatly missed.
