Celebrate the Summer Solstice with free archery! Join Friends of Heinz Refuge this Thursday 6/18 from 4 pm to 8 pm for summery fun. Free refreshments, crafts, music! As we industrial-nation humans start to remember our place on, and responsibility to, Earth, we are learning how to care for caterpillars... which in turn cares for birds.

Spraying for mosquitos is literally insane. Don't do it and don't pay for it. And if you have paid Mosquito Joe for it, you might be eligible to participate in a class action suit (which our company has no part in whatsoever).

Restoring habitat for birds and bats who eat mosquitos is the solution. Oh, and let's stop destroying more habitat, aka "development." Tell your elected officials to put a moratorium on it until we find a harmonious way to build and protect Earth at the same time. There is no Planet B, despite the billions of dollars being wasted on exploring Mars.

We, meaning you, too, must get serious about investing time and money in Earth's health or lose the privilege of living on it. Read that again. Then take real action.
