Our client relocated from Baltimore and landed on a great townhome in Fairmount 📍 Before move in, the walls needed some love to fix old patchwork and touchups.

We repainted the stairwells, hallways, master bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen, and living room in SuperPaint, Alabaster, satin finish. Warmer, brighter, and consistent room to room.

Not all stains are created equal, and the wrong finish can cost you
Before you touch a brush to your deck or fence, here's what you need to know about the three main stain finishes:

1. Semi-Transparent: lets the wood grain show through, subtle color, easiest to maintain. Best for newer wood in good condition.

2. Semi-Solid: the middle ground. Richer color, better protection, minor blemishes disappear. Most versatile option.

3. Solid: maximum coverage and the deepest color. Best for older or weathered wood that needs a fresh start.

And before work starts, make sure the surface is prepped 👷‍♂️ Pressure wash, let it dry, and make sure your surface is free of any old coating that could block pe*******on. Prep is everything.

The trim and window casings were in rough shape. Old chipping paint & weathered wood needed attention before we could start our paint work. We scraped, caulked, primed, and finished with two full coats of Sherwin-Williams exterior paint.
