Happy Birthday, Liz! 🎉💚

Liz is often the first voice our clients hear, the person keeping all of us organized, and someone our entire team knows we can count on.

As our Office Manager, she plays such an important role in the experience we want every client to have. From that first phone call to everything happening behind the scenes, Liz helps keep Artisan moving every single day.

She’s also family in more ways than one. She’s Jon’s sister, and we’re incredibly lucky to have her as such an important part of both our family and the Artisan family.

Liz, thank you for everything you do for our clients, our team, and all of us.

We went to a ribbon cutting to support a local Media business and ended up learning about something much bigger.

We recently met Josh, owner of Chosen Tweed, and his husband Paul at a Delaware County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. The store is great. Home goods, gifts, décor, pillows, snacks, sauces and all kinds of cool stuff. I even spotted some The D3LCO Effect candles from my friend Leon.

But what really got me was what’s happening upstairs.

Above Chosen Tweed are two beautiful apartments that Josh and Paul have partnered with Well Rooted to provide as affordable housing for young adults aging out of foster care.

The two new tenants even got to choose décor for their apartments and make the spaces feel like their own.

Think about what that means for someone trying to figure out the next chapter of their life. Having a safe, affordable place to call home takes one enormous worry off the table and gives them the opportunity to focus on what comes next.

While we were there, we also got to meet Sarah, Katie and Liz from Well Rooted and hear more about their story and mission. We're really glad we did.

This is the kind of community stuff we love discovering and sharing.

Wallpaper can completely change a room without changing much else.

This brick-look wallpaper turned a simple bedroom wall into a feature of the entire space. It adds warmth, texture and character while working really well with everything that was already in the room.

That’s one of the things we love about wallpaper installation. It doesn’t have to mean covering an entire room or choosing a huge pattern. Sometimes one accent wall is all it takes.

Look who stopped by the Artisan office!

Our friend Jim DeStefano from CrossCountry Mortgage⁠ stopped in to catch up, and of course we had to grab a picture.

Jim helps people navigate one of the biggest decisions they’ll make, financing a home. Whether you’re buying your first home, making a move, or looking at refinancing, Jim helps walk people through their options and the mortgage process from beginning to end.

This is also why I love having a network of people I genuinely know and trust. When someone asks me, “Do you know a good mortgage guy?” I don’t want to Google an answer. I want to be able to give them the name of someone I actually know.

We’ve had the opportunity to be involved with YEA! Philadelphia, and it’s such a cool program to see in action. (Young Entrepreneurs Academy)

These young entrepreneurs aren’t just learning about business. They’re developing ideas, building real businesses, making connections and learning how to put themselves out there.

As a local business owner, getting the chance to spend time with them and be a resource has been incredibly rewarding.

Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to help Ridley Hockey League - RHL get ready for another season. 🏒

Our team was back in Ridley Township, PA, refreshing the rink buildings, benches, walls, and surrounding areas, with some amazing carpentry work by Joshua Klein helping bring everything together.

This project was a special one for us. The Dyers grew up in Ridley, went to Ridley High School, and their professional painting career got its start right here in the community. Relationships brought us back, and it was pretty damn cool to have a small part in getting this facility ready for another season of Ridley kids making memories.

Thank you to Ridley Hockey League for trusting our team, and to Joshua for the great work and collaboration.
