New construction home just finished and sold in Media PA. Design by Andersen Design Group. Thanks to Ben Barnes, developer, Adrien Brientnall, realtor and Ed Walsh builder. The final lot of this four home development is now under construction.

April is finally here. This week, the old mantra of 'April Showers...' has been absolutely true (except if you are in the unfortunate area getting snow). Next week looks like true spring weather with sun! That means the plants will be ready to flourish. It's time to get that spring cleaning in the landscape moving.

In the next couple weeks, trees, bushes and perennials will start painting the landscape with color and the weather will allow for outdoor entertaining and enjoyment of patios and exteriors.

And if you have been putting off your exterior improvement projects, please give us a call. Now is a great time to start thinking and designing that outdoor space you have been thinking about!

Landscape lighting adds another level of detail to any outdoor space. I especially like the effect with a bit of snow on the ground.

Interesting note I saw today watching CBNC. 15 years ago in March 2009, the S&P 500 was at the ugly number of 666. Today it cracked 5,000. I started Andersen Design Group just over 2 years before that bottom. It was an ugly time for anything related to real estate (such as architectural design!). But the firm has survived and looking forward to another 15. Well, maybe a few less.

Twin home remodel in Media. I worked with the owner/contractor on this project to renovate a 100 year old twin in Media. Scope included design for a rear two story addition and interior renovations. Check out the rustic industrial basement with wine cellar nook!
