It has aromas of Blackberry, black cherry, ripe black currant, dried herbs, black pepper and vanilla.

Flavors include rich, ripe dark-fruits, vanilla and toasted oak. There is a long, dry finish with gentle spice.

Capers are the unopened flower buds of the caper bush, a hardy shrub native to the Mediterranean and parts of western Asia.

Burgundy Pinot Noir from Domaine Rollin Père et Fils in Savigny-lès-Beaune.
Village-level w**e from the Aux Grands Liards vineyard, including vines planted in 1947.
2022 is a warm, generous vintage; old vines contribute depth and concentration.

Aroma:
Dark cherry, blackberry, raspberry and violet.
Earthy/brambly notes with subtle spice.

Palate:
Medium-bodied but concentrated, with ripe red and black fruit.
Fresh acidity, firm integrated tannins and restrained oak.
