We have had A LOT of interest in these garden boxes Jason made for our herbs and veggies! So, we have decided to list them as a service and wanted to address some frequently asked questions:
For a standard size 8' Wide x 3' Deep x 27.5" Tall box, the price is $350. The dimensions are taken from the top decorative cap, so if you have specific requirements for the inside dimensions of the box, please let us know. The price includes the cost of materials and labor to assemble the boxes. The boxes are made out of untreated SPF wood. We do this to keep cost down. To prevent rapid mold and deteriation, they will need to be treated. Most people find it easy to apply a protectant to the boxes themselves and we are happy to provide advice for companies that sell garden bed safe protection products. If you would like us to sand and add a natural protectant, there is an additional charge of $150 plus the cost of the protectant you choose. The garden beds are very sturdy, but they DO NOT have a bottom. This is to allow for mold mitigation, drainage, and natural enrichment of the soil. A bottom rots out quickly and if you ever need to move the box, it would have to be emptied anyway. CUSTOM SIZES and MATERIALS (such as cedar) are available and we will be happy to put together a quote for you based on your needs. A 50% deposit will be required before we start assembling your garden box. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to working with you!
