Growing lessons continue. This is my 6th crop (Broccoli and salad mix) and best so far, 4 days old. Some mold still but very managable. My average tray is producing over 250 grams of product, some over 300 grams. This crop is very uniformed and evenly across. I'm knocking it out of the park with the Radishes, very tasty. Still lots to learn and do before I can sell. Have been giving out free samples to educate consumers about this healthy and beneficial crop.

Second Round of Microgreen Training:
First try at growing microgreens was a success but had some mold growth. Had to leave town for a few days so decided to kill crop and try again, without coming back to a real mess. My radish and peas did well. Everything is trial and error at this point. This time I had enough medium to try 18 trays. I changed a few things, stacked less. Had a better result, some mold but managable since I'm present. Just introduced the new crop to light.
My whole goal is to get to harvest, now. Will be germinating more trays tomorrow. Round 3. More learning. Bring it!

Bury your favorite tomatoes!

Helpful growing tip:

That's right. The little hairs on the the tomato plant, when buried will turn into roots. WHHHAAAAT! Yes they will. The advantage of this system is your root mass will be enormous! The more established your root system is the more delicious fruit it will bare. Which feeds your microorganisms which in return feeds your plant.
So when you buy a tomato plant however the size or from your own solo cup garden, think do you want to bury the tomato plant vertically or horizontally. Because you can do either. Vertically, dig straight down making the hole deep enough for plant. Horizontally, make a shallow trench about 3-5 deep. Decide what part your going to bury and remove all the stems below that. You want to bury the whole plant except the top 4". That 4" must be above ground. Remove plant from container and massage roots so they can extend. Put in ground. Don't forget to put some (1/2 cup) of your favorite castings in the root zone. Mix plant container content with the soil you just made the hole with and cover up with soil. By doing this you still can use all those benecial nutrients that kept your plant alive this long. And feed your soil. Should you do the horizontal method. The top 4" will reach for the sky so it's ok if leaves are touching the ground. The plant will bend right up vertical. Water well. Adding some worm tea as well.
You can also do this with starting seeds. But youll have to deal roots going every where within the ground. Damage may occur.
Good luck for best results.

Finally after searching for a place to rent since December. Ive been renovating this 1200 sq ft flex building as of March 1st. Installing a grow room, a room for the bugs and operating warehouse space for the soils and worms. Im pretty tight but its whole lot more space then my past mud room I was growing in. Hopefully I will be fully operational in June 2023, will send updates. I will be seeding my first microgreens this week. The grow room is about complete. My soil is made and ready for plants.

Opened the door for 2 hours on Saturday for the first time. To see if I can get any reactions. Enjoy a quick preview.

Happy New Year 2023
We have officially moved from Indiana. In a temporary location in Florida, hopefully to be in our permanent location in the next few weeks. Looking for the best location possible. You can always find us at wickedsmartsuccess.com.
Moved to help family and to do that had to basically start over with Wicked Smart Success. Ordering new worms, bugs and equipment this week. Encouraged with the thoughts of the new opportunities presented to us here. The goals this year will be to get back to work growing the farm, hit these farmers markets and help these hard to grow soil growers here with our great products.
I wish all those in Indiana the best of luck with their growing needs.
Thank you and have a safe great year! Good luck
