Every family business has a beginning. Ours started with craftsmanship.

Before that, it started with service.
Robert Bitgood Sr. served his country, where discipline, accountability, and doing things the right way were non-negotiable. Those standards became the foundation for everything that followed.

In the late 1990s, he began honing his skills building custom cabinets for his grandfather-in-law. That experience shaped the values that still guide our company today: integrity, attention to detail, and pride in doing the job right.

Soon after, an opportunity introduced him to the world of window and door installation in Lake Worth, Florida. What began as a job quickly became a craft. Through years of dedication, Robert Sr. mastered the trade and eventually started Sunset View Windows & Doors with his wife Sandy, who still plays an important role in the business today.

But the story didn’t stop there.

That same commitment to service carried into the next generation. Robert Jr. served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and Ryan served in the U.S. Army before both returning home to continue building what their family started.

Together, that experience shaped how we operate today.

Robert Sr. passed his knowledge down through years of hands-on learning in the field. That apprenticeship built more than skills. It built a legacy rooted in hard work, teamwork, and continual improvement.
