Many times when in the throws of designing a project, I run into clients who want to incorporate something they already have or wish to purchase, without having a clear idea of where it will go.
When planning your space, it’s good to keep focused on intentional shopping.
More on this…
Intentional shopping
Buying with a plan, not reacting in the moment. Every purchase is filtered through the larger vision for the space.
Purpose before purchase
You shop knowing why you need something—function, scale, durability, or visual balance—not just because it’s pretty or on sale.
This helps avoid costly mistakes and a compromised a look. When in doubt, refer back to the Vision. If you hired a professional. Use the designer’s take on the item in question.
