Today's blog post is all about my favorite summer color palettes!

When I did the spring palettes, I had time to sew up a top in one of the palettes... I don't have the extra time to do that this time, but I did mock up what I WOULD do if I did have the time!

In order of appearance:
✨ & mashup by out of lime green gingham
✨ by in yellow cotton canvas
✨ by in several colors of pure solids
✨ by in lemon & orange jersey from joann fabrics
✨ top hack by in some unbleach canvas and by in tan/navy gingham
✨ by in a rusty red textured knit along with a by in my hand dyed with avocado canvas
✨ self drafted shirt in some black and white triangle fabric from joann along with the by in some purple bed sheets and leftover quilting cotton for the pockets and patches
✨ by in a pink gingko jersey from joann

This past weekend, I went to my first ever quilt retreat with the . It was literally the best weekend ever, and I can't wait until I can go to my next retreat! I met so many wonderful ladies, and got sooooooooo much sewing done. It felt great to finish a really difficult project ( by ) in just one weekend completely start to finish! I also got the top done for a table topper version of by that I'm making to go under my wedding cake!

We went fabric shopping at Front Porch Fabrics in Stilwell, OK, and I got some pretty awesome stuff! We also did a Quilt Fairy thing (which is kinda like Secret Santa). It was so fun giving and receiving little sewing gifts!

I have so many ideas for projects to take along with me to my next retreat, and I CAN'T WAIT!!!
