Happy Wednesday! 🤗

It’s still hot here but the temperatures are slowly creeping down so no more heat advisories….thank goodness! I see 80s in our future and lots of porch sittin.

When we purchased this home, the first thing we did was build this porch. Hubby and I knew we wanted a big front porch to sit on. We love sitting out here. Hubby reads his Bible out here every morning. He’s also a musician so he plays music out here all the time. I think I’ve seen the cows swaying to the beat a time or two! 🤭😂 I’m not a coffee or tea drinker (I know. I know. 🤦🏼‍♀️), but a glass of Chardonnay sure tastes good out here! 😆

I hope we all have great porch sittin weather soon!

Happy Tuesday! 🤗

I hope you all had a great Labor Day. Hubby had to work so it was a chill day for us. We ended up frying fish when he got home that he had caught several days ago. It was soooo delicious! 😋

Today will be just a usual day. Hubby is going to mow the grass and I will clean some—I try to spread cleaning out. I hate cleaning all in one day. It’s not fair to that day 😂🤣! I’ll walk on my walking pad and work on my cross-stitch piece. Then, it’s off I go to tutor my dyslexia students! That always makes me happy. 🥰

Happy Labor Day! I hope you are having a great long weekend! 😃

My porch is all dressed up for fall, and y’all know how happy that makes me! 🍂🎃 There’s just something about pumpkins, fall colors, and a little porch decorating that makes home feel even cozier.

I love sitting out here in my rocker and enjoying the outdoors, especially when those cooler fall days finally arrive. After a long, hot summer, I’m more than ready for crisp mornings, cozy evenings, and all the goodness that comes with fall.

Now if Mother Nature would just cooperate and send us some cooler temperatures, I’d be a happy girl! 🤎🍁

Happy Sunday! 🤗

It was so fun watching football all day yesterday. It’s weird that most of the games were blow outs! My hubby works on the weekends so I ended up going to my daughter’s house and my son in law grilled out. We had so much fun eating, talking, and watching football! I’m so glad I only live seven minutes from her!

Today will be a chill day. I’ll piddle, clean, work on my cross stitch piece, and watch football again! I might have gotten my hot glue gun out yesterday and added some fabric to the cabinets in the guest bath. I might put a picture in stories! 🫣🤭Now I’m all done doing that!! 😆

Happy Thursday! This week is flying by.

Our living room is all ready for cozy season, and my heart is happy! . The “Ber” months are finally here, and you know I’m ready for ALL the fall things!

Give me the rich fall colors, pretty leaves, pumpkins everywhere, cozy blankets, and a home that feels warm and welcoming. There’s just something about fall that makes me want to slow down, light a candle, curl up on the couch, and enjoy being home.

Let the cozy season begin!

Happy Wednesday! 🤗

We are under another heat advisory today so I need Mother Nature to realize that it’s September and I need cooler temps! 😆.

I don’t tutor on Wednesdays so it will be a relaxing day today! I’ll do a little bit of cleaning, I’m walking on my waking pad, and I started a cross-stitch piece. I always like to have a project going!

I added fabric to two of the kitchen cabinets this past weekend and I may add some to two cabinets by the laundry room and even possibly the bathroom! 😆

It’s September! The “Ber” months are my four favorite months of the year so bring on all the coziness.

I got this plate rack from Magnolia about a year ago and I have the best time styling it. When fall rolls around, I love pulling out my Mikasa “Whole Wheat” dishes that I’ve had for over 40 years!

Happy new week and last day of August! 🤗

I’m showing you the other side of my kitchen all dressed up for fall! 🍂 And….I did a thing! 😆

I pulled out my hot glue gun and added fabric to the recessed spaces of two of my Shaker cabinets, and I loooove how they turned out! It’s such a simple little change, but I think it adds so much charm, character, and personality to the kitchen.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest difference! ❣️

I can’t believe September arrives tomorrow! Bring on my favorite months and time of year!
