A few photos from yesterday’s Idaho watercolor workshop!

Many of the guests in this class were new to watercolor, but by the end of the afternoon everyone had created a beautiful Idaho trout painting to take home.

I have to give a special shoutout to the creative guests who added Heimlich from A Bug’s Life to their watermelon projects. How cute is that?!

With all the watermelon door hangers and summer squares, there was a lot happening in the studio. Thanks to everyone who joined us for a creative day at Hammer & Stain. I always enjoy seeing familiar faces and spending time creating together. ☀️

Yesterday’s garden workshop was a good one 🌼🍄

We spent the morning painting seed packet signs, adding all the little details, and turning plain cement mushrooms into colorful garden decor.

I even ended up putting one of the mushroom stakes in my own planter box, and honestly it’s pretty cute out there 🌸

Friday night was all about pressed flowers, resin, and pretty trays 🌸

Everyone took the same supplies and somehow made something completely their own. I loved all the different color palettes and layouts that came together throughout the night. These turned out so bright, summery, and fun.
