Still Missing in Westland: 75-year-old James Sanford

The Westland Police Department continues to seek the public's assistance in locating 75-year-old James Sanford, who has now been missing for over two weeks. Mr. Sanford was last seen on Monday, April 8, at 2 p.m. near his residence in the 37000 block of Westwood Circle, close to Joy and Newburgh roads.

Despite ongoing search efforts by ground teams and the Michigan State Police Aerial Unit using thermal imaging technology, there have been no sightings of Mr. Sanford. He is described as 5'9" tall, weighing 220 lbs, and was last seen wearing blue sweatpants, a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black gym shoes, and a blue "USA Baseball" ball cap. He has grey facial hair on his chin.

It is critical to note that Mr. Sanford requires medication which he did not have with him when he left home. The Westland Police Department urges anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward and contact them at 734-722-9600.
