Things are looking good in the Orcutt garden. Pumpkins are going crazy. Corn is recovering from some wind damage. Cucumbers are climbing. Starters are almost ready to transplant. Basil bed is flourishing. Three new beds ready for planting and one big bed to still be built. I am looking forward to this fall harvest.

Breaking ground in the front yard today! Gonna build a raised bedfor flowers and herbs. Fall garden prep has started.

Cardboard and wood chips put down. No more grass🤞🏻For the most part everything seems to be doing good or getting better. Had some issues with ants and a few caterpillars on my tomatoes. nothing some BT and neem oil didn't fix. Also a tidbit of info...hornworms glow under UV light! Makes them easier to spot since they are masters of camouflage. Now just need to shade a few more spots and we should be ready for the summer.
