I grew up in a family that owned both furniture stores and a real estate company. I never planned on going down either road, but here I am in both worlds. I started selling furniture and flooring at age 12, not to mention steam cleaning every single carpet sample when I was in trouble. I found a love for decorating and design at a young age accompanying my Dad to furniture markets when he let me.
I purchased my first home at 21 and sold it for a decent gain 18 months later, who knew that was going to turn into a hobby and then a career. While I managed many big box retail stores and small specialty stores throughout my career, design always pulled me in. I have worked for a hand full of builders throughout my career in the selection and design process, also managing an interior design company. Through the years I have learned how to give amazing customer service, listen to people and what they wanted, and find a way to make it happen within their budget. If you do the right thing, people come back and tell more people. I have invested in real estate and flipped homes since 1997, most often increasing the neighborhood home values by redesigning and staging my homes to make them as desirable as possible. Owning over 35 homes as a single mother has been interesting, as they were often on the market and the girls and I were on to the next adventure. My love of investing in property and the love of making a profit led me to become a REALTOR®. I have been a Full-time REALTOR® since 2006 and have had a great career with so many past clients becoming lifelong friends! While I love selling real estate, my heart still takes me to the design and redesign of homes. I started Creative Concepts Home Staging and Design in 2005 because of that. I love turning each room into the 'perfect room' for each client, even having them fall back in love with rooms they haven't used in years. One of my latest interests has been designing and decorating short-term rentals and helping owners of vacation homes increase their profits. When I'm not found working on a property, I can be found spending time hiking, golfing, kayaking, long-range shooting, or just enjoying the outdoors. I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cruising through the White Mountains looking at wildlife. I am a mother to two grown daughters and also two golden doodles. My first Grandson will be making his way into the world soon also!
