I'm considering taking this page down as all it does is attract spam calls from dishonest telemarketers. I have removed the phone number, at least for now. Plus, Facebook wants me to pay $20 to "boost" the phone number on it! I get 10+ spam calls a day because my number is online in the first place, and I'm considering taking it off of any online listing. It's terrible that these criminals who want to spam people with automated dialers have ruined things for everyone.
I should list the ones I've determined are from a company called "Local Marketing" company.

Find of the week: New (used) drawer for a customer, exact replacement including hardware, $4 at Stardust supply, just around the corner from us here in Mesa, AZ. Amazing find, actually, saved building a new drawer box and assembling it. The drawer face even matched! The old drawer had fallen apart due to water damage. Also stores in Glendale and Phoenix.

We sell gently-used cabinet sets, doors & windows, fixtures, appliances and furniture at 50% to 80% below retail

I got a call from a client's renter that the dryer wasn't functioning properly and that the condo was getting humid. They said it turned on fine and heated up, but did not dry the clothes. I asked them to clean out the lint filter and also check behind it for clogs.
They had no clue what I was talking about. I had to go over and clear out several POUNDS of lint that had accumulated in and behind the filter. They had NO IDEA that you have to clean the lint filter after each use!
Now, many different types of clothes dryer have been made, so you may have to look up the owners manual for that particular unit, and familiarize anyone who is using one with the location of the lint filter, and emphasize that it needs cleaned out after each use! If you own a rental, make sure the tenants know how to use the dryer, if installed, preventing a costly service call to do a simple task.

Yes, it's March. In Arizona that means turning the "furnace" off and preparing your swamp cooler for the summer. That's if you don't have central air conditioning, of course.
Either way, it's time for maintenance.
Swamp coolers should have been drained for the winter, and may need to be cleaned, new pads put on, filled, and pumps, pulleys, bearings, and other parts all checked!
Your AC may not need anything but a filter change, however, it's good to do a checkup, and make sure drain lines are clear so that your split unit does not wind up leaking all over your ceiling and causing expensive drywall repairs. If this happens, however, we can help.

Hopefully you'll never have a fire, and not one that spreads. If you do let's hope the builder used something like this on your walls, on BOTH sides of the drywall (not likely to have been used at all and certainly not behind the wall.) Drywall is one of the WORST building materials ever, however it's used in most American homes. Why? Because it's cheap. It's not as cheap as it used to be, however, and there are problems with builders who use poor quality imported drywall to save that cost! Maybe soon the USA will wake up and realize that MbO board, or something similar should be used instead.
Benefit: it's fireproof, waterproof, and mold proof. However, it's mostly made in China:(

Drywall/Gypsum wallboard (GWB) is an accepted fire barrier; however, it is also a huge fuel source for the first few minutes of exposure to a fire or even temperatures higher than 451 Fahrenheit. That’s because the paper fascia on gypsum wallboard, even fire rated GWB, is PAPER – paper coated with flammable paint. (Not only is it an enormous fuel source, it may also be toxic in a fire.) Once the paper burns off, the gypsum goes to work protecting the substrate; but initially, the painted paper fascia will flare and can wildly accelerate temperature rise and trigger flashover in adjoining rooms.

Contego fire resistant paint protects gypsum wallboard and adds 55 minutes of drywall fire protection.

Thank you to my recent customers from Home Advisor who looked me up on Facebook or used our website, http://sparkleenenterprises.com/ , instead of using the submit form at Home Advisor! That is a pay-per-lead service which I've mostly had turned off for the last 4 months, because the pricing there has doubled. Interesting fact: I've been busier than ever with the leads OFF!

How in the world did FACEBOOK GET MY WIFE'S CEL PHONE number to try to associate with this page?
WRONG.
They need to stop mining the web for information. GOOGLE too!
"Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful." NO, I DO NOT want all my information, nor even my name, accessible on the web. I'm very hesitant to have my business name on the web, after this one.
I don't want them to HAVE let alone organize MY INFORMATION. PERIOD. I don't want them to have any information about ANYONE. AT ALL. Thank you internet, I've lost my faith with you.

I see Facebook wants me to pay $30 to "boost" my posts here. I don't really think that's good use of my money! I'm really not looking for a lot of followers on this page, nor a lot of new customers. I've been swamped with work all summer!

I've been replacing bulbs with LED, the price is finally right for screw-in bulbs, below $10, and the spectrum is very close (IF you get warm white, not cool white, which is more like CFL, horrid.)
True, you used to be able to buy 40 bulbs for that price, but these last about as long as 40 bulbs used to, and do use about 1/7th the energy..
I also have been replacing the HORRID 4 foot fluorescent tubes with LED strips.. it takes a little conversion, but well worth it, you won't be replacing bulbs every six months, or ballasts every few years. With the 12V strips and transformer I use, you should get ten trouble-free years out of it. UPSIDE? cost is about 10 bucks for the LED strips for 16 feet (and I use one strip cut in 4 sections to replace two 4 foot fluorescent tubes.) The transformer can cost more than the strips if you can't find cheaper ones at the secondhand store.
I will tell you, AVOID buying these from Lightology.com. They charge as much for TWO INCHES as you can get from Lighting Ever on Amazon for the 16 foot strips.
The only reason I see to buy from Lightology is: you like to brag about how much you spent for some fancy fixture! Yes, they do have some artistic fixtures, that I'd consider more "art" than "function" but if you really want to pay three or four hundred dollars for some artsy thing that performs the same function as a $20 fixture, go for it. I don't think your house guests will be admiring it enough to justify that. Of course if you have a house that "requires" a four thousand dollar chandelier, you don't care what it costs.
