Coffee & Calm.

The name is the brief.
Some spaces are designed to energize. This one was designed to do the opposite — to slow people down, soften their shoulders, and remind them that a coffee can be more than a transaction. It can be a moment.
Every detail of Coffee & Calm was built to deliver that feeling.

The warm circular ceiling treatment that wraps the room like a soft embrace. The spiral staircase carving through a double-height space. The curved central bar that anchors the room and invites conversation. Soft pendant lighting that glows instead of glaring. Cascading plants that bring life to every corner. A material palette of warm woods, cream, and quiet beige — not a single color shouting, every choice whispering.

A complete brand experience built from the ground up. Logo. Identity. Interior. Atmosphere. One vision, end to end.
Because some cafés sell coffee. The great ones sell calm.

A café designed around a single feeling: stillness.

Took a walk through Sabor this week and wanted to share it with you.
Designing a café feels deceptively simple from the outside. Chairs, tables, counter, lights. Done.
But anyone who’s operated one knows — the difference between a café people walk past and a café people sit in comes down to hundreds of small decisions. The scale of the bar. The warmth of the lighting. The acoustics. The way the seating invites you to stay five more minutes.
That’s what we love about commercial design. It’s design that has to perform.

Dallah | Arabic Coffee Experience ☕️

Designing Dallah was about more than creating a coffee shop—it was about translating culture into space.

Inspired by the timeless ritual of Arabic coffee, this concept blends heritage with a contemporary hospitality experience. The design language draws from traditional Middle Eastern patterns, reinterpreted through clean geometry and refined detailing. The custom front counter becomes the focal point, featuring diamond-shaped inlays that echo cultural motifs while adding depth and identity to the brand.

Warm wood tones, brushed brass accents, and layered ambient lighting create an inviting atmosphere that reflects the richness and warmth of Arabic hospitality. Open shelving showcases coffee tools and ingredients as part of the storytelling—turning preparation into a visual experience for guests.

Every element was carefully considered to balance authenticity with a modern edge, creating a space that feels both rooted and elevated.
