Is the fan jet nozzle npt and if so what size? I have a 4800 gph punp running a waterfall with about a 2.5 ft head 25 ft from pond pump This nozzle will go on the opposite end of the pond only about 5 ft from pump with maybe 6 inches of head. Will the pump handle both? I will be cutting the tee for fountain into the 2 inch pvc line going to the waterfall. THANK YOU
Hello Jim,
We have 2 styles of fan jet. One is just the fan jet, the other is an angled one. Both come in one inch. The default fan jet also has a 1.5 inch size. They are female thread. You pump should be fine given a 2.5 tall waterfall that is not far at all from the pump either. I also imagine the waterfall is not much wider than the height either, but if it is, it could affect the waterfall somewhat. I am talking 4 foot and wider. The wider, the more it affects. Additionally, the nozzle does not require much to power. Your pump exceeds and GPH the nozzle needs for maximum performance. In fact, put a ball valve on the pipe powering the nozzle as you will probably need to push back the flow, which in turn helps your waterfall flow stay the same as you see it now.
Thank you,
Pondboy
