MCM Brazilian designers (ie. Joaquim Tenreiro, Sรฉrgio Rodrigues, Josรฉ Zanine Caldas) often integrated cane & rattan into their furniture designs
โง Contemporary rattan:
Designers such as , Neca Abrantes and are reinventing these traditions paying homage to local handcrafts & materials while exploring new forms.
