he key. I like spaces to sparkle, to use metals that provide a little jewelry, colors to convey a mood and textures for the touch." For Cahlin, good design is easy when cost is not an object. The real challenge she says, "comes in providing creative, unique yet practical design while being sensitive to the client's specified needs, goals and budget." Formerly a partner with Male Cahlin Design, Cahlin has established her own company, Cahlin Design Group in Coconut Grove, Florida. Cahlin and her professional team work closely with clients from a project's inception to completion. They remain involved with every aspect of the detail from the origination of drawings to all design selections and specifications, hiring contractors and project supervision. Cahlin's portfolio primarily includes high-end residences and vacation homes but she also has years of experience specializing in boutique commercial projects.
