After some delays we should have the 820 Country Club Drive house on the market by July 1 . This house has been one of the toughest houses, I feel, that we have rehabbed! When I first looked at it my first thoughts were, “oh we can make this so cute”. Then as work progressed I was just not feeling it! But you have to keep moving forward. Fortunately we are now getting to one of my favorite parts of the rehab and that is the final details, so it’s getting better! Some of our major improvements so far are: new roof, on house and garage , new 200 amp service with wiring updates, new plumbing, all new kitchen including cabinets, appliances and quartz countertops, new master bath and new hall bath, all new interior doors. And ALL the minor things in between. Our painter (Don) would probably add all new interior paint as a major improvement!!

We’re back, after several months of working on other projects we are back at the 820 Country Club Drive house. It was a long, long winter😬and I’m sure glad we are through that now! During that time I had the crew build a new bathroom for me. Knowing I was headed for hip replacement surgery and really needed a larger bath with some conveniences, a walk in shower, washer/dryer that doesn’t require running up and down steps. We had a very tiny half bath off our bedroom and not a huge amount of space off that to build but I knew what I needed and got everything within a 10’ x10’ addition. We also used the existing half bath and that’s where the new vanity was located. We really needed this space as our house is fairly small. I will be posting updated pictures off the flip house in a separate post today.

Work began over a month ago on the Country Club Drive house. So far the basement was gutted. There had been several rooms in the basement that we thought we could saved but as it turns out the flooring was shot and the subfloor underneath. Donny and his team took all the walls down. We decided that was better and we’ll give it all a fresh coat of paint. Miller Heating and Cooling added a new furnace and air conditioning system. The house will be getting a new roof, new kitchen, new flooring, and new bathrooms. Kitchen gutting has been started!! Oh yes….a new 200 amp electric service has been installed.

It’s about time to give you a look at the inside of the house on Country Club drive. These pictures are a few days after my husband Dennis, grandsons Brady and Cam and their friend Colbin worked hard at getting the house cleaned out. So let’s take a look at what we have.

Do you ever just need a break from social media? The past 3 months I have taken a little break from Facebook. I still checked it out some but not nearly as much as usual. I’ve also taken a little vacation from flipping while my crew worked a few other projects.
But…shortly after the sale of the new build I was contacted by someone who needed to sale a house and was overwhelmed by the thought of getting it ready to go on the market. I went that day to look at it and was interested. I knew it would be an enormous amount of work but should be a good flip so I had Donny look at it and I decided to buy it. This one is located at 820 Country Club Dr. Sistersville Wv. We have begun work so now I can start updating you all!

We are done!!! First new build in the books! What a team effort The biggest Thank you goes to my builders, Donny and Don Beaumier. Wow these guys work so hard and as you can see, they do an awesome job! I can’t give them enough credit! Thanks also Steve and Jordan from Henderson electric, who did the electrical but also jumped in to help out when we needed extra hands. Also thanks to Miller Heating and Cooling, Mid Ohio Exteriors, Amish Country Roofing , Warren Judge and so many others who had a hand in helping out in some way! And I cannot forget the best neighbors ever! Thanks for being understanding and helpful , whether it’s taking a load of trusses through your property or answering questions for us. We do have some very nice buyers for our first build. I think they are going to love it here!

Donny and Jordan have been busy installing the garage door for the past couple days. Donny has most of the trim work inside done. What a difference the trim makes. Don has been working on the yard now that we have been blessed with some great weather.

The new build in Friendly is coming along so nicely. I’ve had a lot of dreams in my life but I have to say, this was not one of them. But here we are and I am loving this. Today was countertop install day. What a difference, they are really far more gorgeous in person. Now just waiting for the finishing touches. Columbus Granite installed the master bath quartz vanity top and sink. And the cabinet top on the TV wall was out of the same slab that we have on our island. They did a fabulous job!
