🌿Plant Spotlight: Panicle Hydrangea

💲Available in 1 gallon pots for $10 each.

‘Silver Dollar’
- Compact 4’x4’ size
- Part to full sun
- Blooms emerge lime, changing to bright white, then fading to pink in the fall

‘Phantom’
- 6’x6’ or more naturally, but can be size controlled by hard pruning in early spring
- Huge 15 inch panicle blooms emerge white, then fade to dark pink in the fall
- Part to full sun

‘Limelight’
- Very popular and reliable landscape shrub
- 6’x6’ or more naturally, but can be size controlled by hard pruning in early spring
- Full to part sun
- Blooms emerge lime, changing to white, then fading to pink in the fall

These shrubs grow quickly and make great foundation plants and hedges. Deer will eat hydrangeas, so take steps to protect young shrubs.

⏰ Cherry Grove Nursery will be closed this weekend, 6/13 and 6/14. We will reopen for visitors to the nursery on Saturday, June 20th from 10am-2pm at 398 Cherry Grove Rd, Middlebrook, VA 24459. Stop by and browse our late season inventory of perennials, hydrangeas, fruit trees and blueberries. All fruit trees on sale $25 each. Blueberry shrubs 2 for $25. Hydrangeas $10 each.

A huge thank you to Cherry Grove Nursery for their generous donation to the Veterans Garden of Augusta!

They donated a ton of Echinacea pallida (pale purple coneflowers) and Anise Hyssop, also known as native hummingbird mint. These beautiful native plants will help support pollinators, attract wildlife, and add even more life and color to our garden.

Our goal is to incorporate as many native plants as possible throughout the garden, and generous donations like this help bring life.

We are grateful for Cherry Grove Nursery’s support and for helping us create a space that benefits both our community and the local ecosystem.
