Project Updates
We’re excited to share the latest progress across several key projects:
Southwest Community (Bridgeport)
Trim work is nearing completion at Southwest Community, a vital facility providing affordable dental care to uninsured and low-income residents in the greater Bridgeport area. DDM Mechanical successfully installed the water, DWV, dental water, air, and vacuum systems, bringing the project closer to completion.
Avon – 100-Unit Apartment Building
Carpenters have started layout and framing. We will soon mobilize our crew to begin rough-in work on this 100-unit residential development.
Stamford – 39-Unit Apartment Building
Our team installed fire-rated sleeves in the concrete deck that will become the second floor. These sleeves will allow future piping to pass through efficiently, eliminating the need for core drilling after the slab is poured.

🚧 Project Update!
Our team just crushed it — completing the entire underground in just a few short days!
The building has been divided into two sections featuring 19 residential units, 2 public bathrooms, and various amenities for future tenants. Total project will be 100 residential units.✅
Following inspection, the other crews are now on site preparing for the slab pour. Next up: the carpenters arrive to start erecting the structure!

The project team continues to make excellent progress on the West Hartford Fellowship Housing Phase II redevelopment (77-unit building on Starkel Road). Rough-in work is actively underway across all 77 units. Sanitary and domestic water piping installations are now fully complete in the first 40 units. To maintain momentum, a portion of the mechanics have mobilized to the second building and have commenced roughing in the drain, waste, and vent (DWV) system, while the remaining crew remains on-site to finalize details and prepare those initial units for upcoming inspections.

Construction has commenced on site and foundation work for the new 100-unit building at The Homes at Avon Park in Avon.
DDM Mechanical is continuing to install sleeves through the foundation to accommodate the successful placement of the domestic waste and vent (DWV) and storm drainage systems.
The office team is currently preparing overlay drawings to identify and resolve potential conflicts with trusses or other structural members, ensuring coordination and avoiding field issues.

Carpenters have arrived and are marking out the wall lines to begin erecting the structure. All under-slab plumbing rough-ins have aligned perfectly with the layout. Meanwhile, underground plumbing for the upcoming 37-unit building is nearing completion.

The DDM team commenced underground rough-in for this 40-unit apartment building on Monday and successfully completed inspection by Friday morning. Sanitary, storm, and condensate piping were installed with exceptional accuracy, utilizing our Hilti PLT digital layout system.
We are prepared to begin underground work on the next building—a 37-unit structure—shortly.

Excited to work with Viking Construction on this Dental office. Our team has begun coring holes and hanging strut racks to support the pipes throughout the space.

🏥 Project Kickoff: Southwest Community Health Center | Bridgeport, CT

We’re underway on a 9,300 square foot interior fit-out for Southwest Community Health Center in Bridgeport.

This project will help expand access to essential care for the local community, and we’re proud to be part of it.

🔧 Rough plumbing through the roof for a 32-unit apartment project in East Granby.
🔧 Installed sleeves for underground plumbing in one of two buildings for a 77-unit apartment project in West Hartford.
🔧 Progressing with trim work for 31 units in Hartford.

From the office to the field, we're ensuring accuracy in materials. Rough-in plumbing is now complete for a new restaurant coming to Bradley Airport.
