Thinking about the sermon on the mount (Matthew 5) and just honestly wondering how Jesus is bringing these blessings to fruition in my life. Hopefully the biggest change in my life that has blessed me and those around me is the ability to freely love and enjoy others without having to serve as their conscience. I’m not talking about being passive. I’m talking about learning the difference between taking inspired action instead of reacting. How are you learning how to balance truth and grace?

Some people need to go to church to experience healing and the quiet magic that speaks not in words. But when I walk among the flowers I feel a sense of peace i cannot find elsewhere. I call this The chaos of the world fades and I am reminded that beauty can be powerful in stillness, that blooming without apology is biblical and everything is accomplished in its time.

Don’t hurry through this beautiful life, reacting to situations with stress. Step back from all the chaos and rush a little less. Come home to yourself again, there are roses around your door. The grass is not greener on the other side. Don’t always be searching for more. So live with gratitude in your heart, there are blessings to find each day. And you really don’t need to look very far to see you are blessed in many ways. CE Coombes

My Story

17 years ago I needed a professional interior design advocate but couldn't afford hiring a full service interior designer and listening to everybody’s point of view didn’t make sense to my situation, so I returned to college to learn what I needed to pull it together. It worked and I've been refining my art ever since. Now I help others as their design advocate problem solve, plan and design their own projects as much or as little as they need me.
