It is with a heavy heart that Matt and I must announce that on Friday, June 30th, Baker's Nursery will permanently close our doors. This is a decision that is very difficult for both of us. We will miss seeing our customers, many who have become friends along the way. We will miss the traditions that we have shared over the years. We have watched children come through the door, always fascinated with the old fashioned scale, we have joked about them working for us someday, and in many cases they did. Many of you have watched Matt, who started with Bakers at 17 grow up. So many memories, so many emotions, hard to find the right words... To our employees, both past and present, thank you for "always" being a part of the Bakers family, and for treating our business like it was your own. To our loyal customers, thank you for 40+ years of being part of this community. It is to this end that I would like to share contact information for Matt.
