We're saying good-bye to the incredible garden club from the Iowa Tr-Cities. They braved yesterday's storms for a visit to some of our local botanical gardens a stop at the Garden Center! a fabulous time was had by all of us!

Did you hear? Wisconsin’s Peninsula State Park was just named the No. 3 state park in the United States by USA Today 10Best!

Peninsula State Park was nominated earlier this spring and thanks to the votes of our fantastic visitors, we made it to the top 3.

Often considered Wisconsin's most complete park, Peninsula offers over 400 campsites, 20 miles of hiking trails, 12 miles of off-road bicycle paths, a summer theater, an 18-hole golf course, sand beaches, a lighthouse and eight miles of Door County shoreline.

Congratulations to all of the other great state parks that earned the title of “best state park” this year!

We'll be sharing photos taken in the Pheasant Branch Conservancy by Middleton High School students for their Celebrating Nature Through Community program. These talented young people captured beauty, wonder and the quiet moments that can be found when you are able to slow down and open your eyes. The photos are displayed in the Garden Center, so stop by and experience PBC through the lens of a camera. Dave works in our Green Goods Department and can usually be found hanging out with trees and shrubs. He has a excellent eye for striking annual combinations as well. Post a photo of your garden and we'll randomly draw a name every Friday this month for a $10 Garden Center Gift Card.

THEY'RE COMING! Remember those adorable rescue puppies you helped name? Well, Daisy, Fern, Holly, Basil, Bonsai, Joe Pye, Rue, and Sage are making their grand appearance this Saturday from Noon–2 PM at our Garden Center!

These adoptable pups from Fetch WI Dog Rescue are ready for cuddles, kisses, and maybe even a forever home. Stop by, meet the litter you helped name, and enjoy an afternoon filled with wagging tails and garden inspiration.

If you've been looking to add something new to your home or garden, you'll have the chance to pick up both varieties of plants at this event — the green ones and the furry ones!
