Right now I am in a season of waiting. I’ve had a hope and dream for a couple of years now and the doors have been closed.

As we anticipate the arrival of baby #3 this fall, we’re praying for doors to open.

But I’m also reminded today just how good this season is. It’s totally chaotic, but it’s so sweet. Evening moments in the garden while Malachi plays with his cars and Joey sleeps peacefully (finally!).

Pizza and movie night Fridays and Saturdays at the farmers market. So much time with family and cousins and friends who also have young children.

A season of celebrating all of the healing that has taken place in my family over the past two years.

Even in the middle of waiting, there is SO much good. For me, the garden is such a special part of that good. In all seasons of life, the garden offers me something to celebrate and learn.

Thankful for all of you too, and the journey we’re on together to grow 🌱
