All about the grade…. This property had issues with water flowing towards the house from the roadway. We removed the existing asphalt and excavated a large portion of the driveway to create a better pitch/base. Here we are pictured applying stone and preping the area for new asphalt!

I’m all about that bass…. I mean base….
Here are a few pics from a base job we did last week. A base layer of asphalt consists of a more course material and acts as a binder for the topcoat. A newly constructed driveway like this warranted a base coat prior to laying the topcoat.

Belgium block and asphalt combo looks great! Topcoat coming soon!
