Qualifications
•
Minimum Qualifications: 5 yrs diagnostic and maintenance experience with diverse residential and commercial systems
•
Current Valid Driver’s License
•
Must have standard tools
•
Trade Skills : As stated within the guidelines of 5 yrs experience
•
Skilled ability to perform thorough inspection checks, repair heating, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration units for both commercial and residential systems, the repair of mechanical and electrical components of these systems
•
Packaged roof top units, split HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, VFD’s, controls, kitchen exhaust system including makeup air and other air handling equipment
•
Self-contained reach in coolers and freezers, remote walk in coolers and freezers, ice machines, refrigerated or frozen drink machines, open air display cases and refrigerated food prep tables
•
A clean driving record and able to pass regular and random drug testing
•
Have a clean criminal background report
•
Own a complete set of personal hand tools (pliers, testers, screwdrivers, cordless drill, gauges etc.)
•
Experience with an iPad or iPhone or similar device is helpful
•Responsibilities
Flexibility with nights and weekends especially in hi-season or when assigned on-call rotation
•
Must work well independently and in a timely manner, flexibility with work assignments i.e. project job sites, routine clients, emergency dispatch, daily appointments scheduled through Service Dept
•
Technically savvy enabling one to maintain their daily schedule via iPad and cell phone: Usage will include but not be limited to the following: Complete customer work orders, take payments and interact with various customers via iPad
•
Verify and update as needed client information, to include email address
•
Technician will be responsible to input, update, track and submit a detailed description of services performed in all work-orders
•
Prepare warranty claims and submissions according to protocol
•
Research parts, communicate with Vendors and keep time sheets
•
Understand company pricing, warranty claims, diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct the matter
•
All interaction, conversation and work performed will be conducted professionally and with the utmost respect onsite or offsite, to include driver’s awareness
•
Vehicle Maintenance and Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the Service Tech to secure, maintain and stock the assigned company vehicle with standard parts, tools, and safety equipment as directed by the owner as stated when being assigned said vehicle.

Refueling as necessary, reporting and scheduling mechanical issues, filling out and submitting a routine vehicle inspection form and keeping the vehicle presentable at all times
