There are some parts of building a pool you just don’t see in the finished pictures.

This is one of them. 👆

Plaster day is organized chaos—in the best way. A full crew working inside and around the pool as the interior finish is mixed, pumped in, applied and finished by hand.

And there’s a reason we wanted to share it.

A beautiful finished pool doesn’t just happen. There are a whole lot of skilled hands behind every detail you eventually see—and plenty behind the ones you don’t. 👏

There’s just something about college football in Texas. 🏈

The details before the pour matter! 👀

Before concrete hits the ground, we’re making the final precise adjustments to the decking. Checking elevations, slopes, forms, spacing, and making sure everything is exactly where it needs to be.

It may not be the prettiest stage of a pool build, but it’s one of the most important. Proper prep now helps ensure the finished decking drains correctly, lines up beautifully with the pool and spa, and performs the way it should for years to come.

Because once the concrete truck shows up, “close enough” isn’t good enough.
