I had kind of lost the energy to work on any new weavings. I guess I lost any inspiration. So I decided to just take a break for a while. My son came and asked me if I would be able to weave a Captain America shield for him to hang in his room. I told him I would try and he is very happy with the result. I am now going to try doing some more of his favorite super hero logos. We shall see where this leads.

I just finished this commission piece after many weeks of working on it. It it approximately 2 1/2’ wide and done on a copper hoop.

Finally done!! No plan with this one. It just made itself I guess. I will get better pics for the ship, but I must say it looks great against a navy blue wall like in my bathroom. I can’t believe also how much yarn it took to make this. I ran out of my white so the little bit of color on the bottom was not supposed to be there.

I have not posted in FOREVER 🙈. I’ve been busy trying to enjoy my summer 😎☀️. Anyway, I’m finally back at it with a new piece I am working on and ao@etching different from all my others. I’m excited to get this one done and show you all.

New collection is finally done!! Why not give each color of the rainbow it’s own circle? Pieced together they make an awesome display. This rib weave collection was done using wooden embroidery hoops 10” and 12”. I loved using the monochromatic colors. This collection will be up in the shop hopefully later today 🌈
