We love bringing in pieces that have a presence of their own and this dining area was a fun place to do just that. The oversized landscape artwork and sculptural pendants, with their draped chains, give the room a collected feel and plenty of character.

Our Mill Valley English Tudor has found its way into Homes & Gardens! 🤎

It’s always fun to see a project we know so well through a new lens, and we loved this story’s focus on something that was such a big part of this home from the beginning: working with what already had meaning.

Heirloom furniture, pieces from our client’s childhood, and nods to her British roots all became part of the story, layered in with new pieces along the way. It’s that mix of old and new that gave this home so much of its personality.

In the powder room of our English Tudor project we let this burgundy Viola marble take the lead. Then paired with Pierre Frey wallpaper and a vintage mirror to give the small space a layered, collected feel.

We wanted this Mill Valley bedroom to feel like a cooned. The dark botanical wallpaper wraps the room in pattern, while the warm brown and neutral layers keep everything feeling soft and settled.

With so much color and pattern throughout our English Tudor project, the kitchen had to carry some personality of its own, just in a slightly different way. We treated the walnut island almost like a piece of furniture, bringing in some warmth and giving the softer cabinetry a little more to play against.
