The process began with a full mechanical surface preparation, ensuring proper adhesion and long-term performance. Any imperfections in the concrete were addressed to create a smooth, uniform foundation. A premium epoxy base coat was then applied, followed by a full broadcast of decorative flake to achieve a seamless, slip-resistant, and visually appealing finish.
To complete the system, a durable polyaspartic topcoat was installed. This advanced topcoat provides superior resistance to chemicals, oils, and heavy wear—making it ideal for automotive service facilities like Jiffy L**e. In addition to its strength, the polyaspartic finish offers UV stability and a clean, glossy appearance that enhances lighting and overall workspace visibility.

We’re kicking off another garage floor transformation — and it all starts with proper prep.
This floor has seen years of wear, stains, and surface damage, but that’s exactly where the process begins. Before any epoxy goes down, we:
Mechanically grind the concrete to open up the pores
Repair cracks and imperfections
Remove contaminants to ensure a strong bond
A solid foundation is what separates an average floor from one that lasts for years.

This project consists of the installation of a premium, multi-layer decorative flake flooring system designed for durability, aesthetics, and long-term performance.

Surface Preparation:The existing concrete surface will be mechanically ground using industrial diamond grinders to properly open the pores of the concrete. All cracks, pits, and imperfections will be repaired to ensure a smooth and structurally sound substrate. This step is critical to achieving maximum adhesion and longevity of the coating system.

Base Coat Application:A high-performance epoxy base coat will be applied evenly across the prepared surface. While the base coat is still wet, a full broadcast of decorative Onyx vinyl flakes will be applied to rejection, creating a seamless, textured, and visually appealing finish.

Flake Removal & Surface Prep:Once cured, excess flakes will be removed, and the surface will be scraped and vacuumed to create a uniform profile, ensuring proper bonding of subsequent layers.

Polyaspartic Topcoat:A clear polyaspartic coating will then be applied, providing excellent durability, UV stability, and chemical resistance. This layer enhances the strength of the system while locking in the decorative flake.

Satin Urethane Finish Coat:To complete the system, a high-quality satin urethane topcoat will be applied. This final layer delivers a smooth, low-sheen finish while offering superior scratch resistance, abrasion protection, and ease of maintenance.
