Literally taking time to stop & smell the roses 🤍 My David Austin teacup roses were tucked down in the bush unnoticed & unappreciated until I took the time to go walk around my gardens & plucked them out for a small arrangement that brings even bigger joy. Salvaged drooping peonies from the weight of the rain & their huge blooms & snipped a little filler. All in the span of 25 minutes or so that I had between tasks. I decided to create something for myself. I’m always creating arrangements & making food for clients, so it’s a treat when I have a down week to create beauty or recipes for myself & my family. Inspired by my creative friends this week, artist encouraged me to carve out a little time with her rituals, and Melanie at with her gorgeous weekly kitchen bouquets & roadside stand off of 999 & Central Manor Rd 💐 I always keep a little something by my sink to brighten up dish duty too 🥰 Grateful for my gardens & to see other creative women entrepreneurs thriving as well. All of my roses, & unique MacMahon peonies, among many other plants, are from — a local business worth checking out, with online ordering & delivery right to your door, or their roadside location at the corner of Harrisburg Pike & Dillerville Rd.
