Forget me nots 💙

I’ve tried growing this in the field and it laughs at me each time at 6 inches tall. Mom now has a corner by her house and lets it reseed and it’s phenomenal every year. Sometimes Mother Nature just does it better!

Call me the butterfly whisperer! 🦋Just kidding these are my babies before they flew away.

These butterflies came from a tray of curly parsley we were going to sell about 6 weeks ago that got egg bombed. I actually was at the Herb festival when I first noticed them! We threw the plants in a butterfly net and let the babies eat as much as their heart desired. It’s fun watching caterpillars eat!

We happen to have some host plants out at the flower shack! Black swallowtails love parsley, dill, rue and bronze fennel! We’re open today (Friday) 10am-7pm

Flower Shack is open today and Friday! The very last of our peony mixed bouquets!

We also have a great deal on pollinator plants this week only! Fernleaf lavender, African blue basil, pineapple sage, yellow yarrow, red bee balm, sweet William, rue, bronze fennel, dill, parsley, borage, nasturtium, gem marigolds, calendula, moonflower and profusion zinnias. All amazing for our pollinator friends! 🦋🐝

June already!? 🐝 🦋 June is pollinator month so obviously the flower shack has to have some pollinator plant deals this week!

This is the very last handful of peony I picked last week. And this will be the last week peony will be in our mixed bouquets 🥲 we’ll be open this week again Wednesday thru Friday! 10am-7pm snag a bouquet before you can’t enjoy them for whole year!!!
