September is Love Your Library Month, when donations to ALL Allegheny County Library Association libraries are subject to a partial match thanks to The Jack Buncher Foundation!

Here at the Millvale Community Library, we've been much more than a Library; we are an agent for positive change in our Community and beyond! We've been a gathering space for meetings. We've planned music, art and science programming for adults and children. We've helped support our local immigrant and refugee populations. We've been a safe space for ALL to gather. We've helped promote food security in our neighborhood. We've protected and shared information. We've been a space where people can play, learn and grow. We've been a gateway to the digital world. We have a growing Library of Things, which includes over 1,000 tools. AND WE HAVE BOOKS!

We could not do all that (and more) without the generous support of friends and neighbors like you! We are operating under MODIFIED HOURS for the holiday weekend! We will be CLOSING EARLY on Friday, July 3rd at 2:00pm. We will be CLOSED on Saturday, July 4th - this means NO Millvale Tool Library hours on Saturday! We will be back to our regular operating hours on Tuesday, July 7th! Please plan accordingly.

Millvale Community Library and Millvale Tool Library will be CLOSED on Saturday, May 23rd so our Staff and Volunteers can enjoy a long Memorial Day weekend! We will be back with regular hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

MCL will be a Stage during Millvale Music Festival on Saturday, May 16th! This is the schedule for musicians playing here and you can head over to MMF's website millvalemusic.org or download their app to see who else is playing this weekend and where! As a reminder, Millvale Tool Library will be CLOSED on Saturday and so will some of the side streets near the Library. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY if you are thinking about visiting the Library or Millvale this weekend!
