I was certain this picture was gone after seeing the photos of the sanctuary at Trinity. Always remembered it hanging in fellowship hall. Luckily it survived with a little water damage. It was drawn by Howard (Ellis maybe)based on a 1940 painting by Warner Sallman and the artist gives credit to the original. We’re going to clean and fix it so it can be hung back in Trinity as it was.

Enjoyed helping out this Lanier Home fundraiser by creating these banners and participating in the silent auction at the luncheon yesterday. We came home with a few goodies and helped raise money for the Lanier Home iron fence restoration.

Made this 32x48 frame for an old school chalkboard with a chalk tray. This was a piece of 1/2” solid slate. The customer brought his own rough milled ash for the project. Final weight was 65lbs.

Reproduced a frame for one of the Mayors portraits using discarded ceiling joists from my sons old house. He got a Pace grant from the city to help with the rehab, which yielded lots of old poplar wood from the demolition, that became great material to make this frame. This was only one of several Mayors portraits by William Snyder that was an oil on canvas.
