Spring is finally here, and if your dogs are anything like ours, the 'zoomies' are in full effect. There’s nothing better than watching them run, but keeping them safe in the yard is the top priority.
We’ve been helping a lot of folks lately secure their yards for high-energy pets. If you’ve got a jumper or a digger, here are a few pro tips for a more durable, escape-proof fence:
- Height matters: For big jumpers, we recommend at least a 6-foot privacy fence to keep them from clearing the top.
- Watch the bottom: If your dog is a digger, we can install a tension wire or bury the bottom of the fence a few inches to prevent them from squeezing under.
- Choose tough materials: Pressure-treated wood and vinyl are great because they’re durable and stand up to pets that might try to chew or lean on the pickets.
