Have you seen our vendor spotlights for our Plant Swap with plants, crafts, and more! 😍

A little info: our vendors are community members and have been approved by our modmin team. Essentially this means we’ve seen repeated positive engagements with our members, great quality/care of items, and genuine demonstrations of core values we have here in our space. Modmin team is still not liable for any purchases made with vendors, please still shop smarty and with care. If you have any questions or concerns about our vendors, our DMs are always open. Otherwise, get excited for these folks at our event 💚

Not a fun post to share but keep your eyes and ears open for this missing plant!

Unfortunately, someone came into our new location sometime this week and stole our Philodendron Strawberry Shake. 😕😕

Please keep your eyes out for someone selling one that looks similar to this. If you have it, please just return it. We are a small business and having items like this stolen from our shop is heartbreaking. Honestly the last few weeks have been really discouraging. We had someone defecate and step in it on our bathroom floor, someone file chargebacks for over $500 of items they picked up, multiple people sending me nasty emails on shipped plants, and now someone stealing this plant.

Running a plant store is a lot of work, but connecting with people and helping make plants easier to afford and get is so worth it. Recently, all this crap (literally and figuratively) has made me feel so frustrated and tired. I’ve been a little MIA on social media this week, and this is why.

So long story short… don’t steal (if you do take the Calatheas), don’t p**p on the bathroom floor, don’t file chargebacks on plants you picked up and resold, and don’t be a grouch!!

Thank you to 99.99% of you for being so supportive and kind. To the 0.01% of you who suck the fun out of this, Get Lost.
