Yea it’s not a painting, but i’d prefer to have an account that shares things that enchant, interest and occupy me. One of those things is wildflowers. The entire bed of Minnehaha creek is full of violet forget-me-nots right now. It’s pure magic.

I’m going to miss this painting. A part of me wanted to keep it at the cabin. The white oak that I milled the frame from comes from around there and it is a painting of the lake reflecting the northern lights. Still, I’m also grateful to the collector who purchased it and happy that they cherish it.

It was mentioned to me today that my studio is not listed in the Art-A-Whirl directory this year. This is truly an oversight on my part! I forgot to submit my entry to the directory by the deadline. But be assured my studio will be open! I’ll follow up with NEMAA after the event.
