Hear from students how Garden City School's environment is designed to help every learner thrive. Weekly Highlight 🎬 Film #3: “A Day in the Life: The Student Experience” 🌟 Garden City: The Future of Education - A Short Film Series 🌟

Today’s students need more than traditional classroom settings. Get an insider’s look through the eyes of two 4th graders, Andre and Avita, as they share what it’s like being a student at the new Garden City School. Here, “structured choice” means students have a say in where, how, and with whom they learn, creating a unique blend of freedom within a supportive framework.

Fielding International educators had the opportunity to shadow Andre and Avnita, witnessing firsthand the flexibility that allows students to choose the spaces that best support their learning needs. Beyond just physical spaces, students like Andre and Avita have more opportunity to build meaningful relationships, connecting with multiple educators and collaborating across grades, which enhances their school experience.

At Garden City, the combination of routines and student agency—structure and empowerment—makes for a truly unique experience. Every day feels a little different, as students are guided by dedicated teachers in an environment of love, autonomy, and flexibility that adapts to their needs.
