Put in this Patio for my fiance's parents. The unevenness of chilton flagstone is all worth it in the end due to its visual appeal. Lovely colors and interesting shapes.

This small backyard was sodded twice in the past. After being used mostly for storage of a trailer, the grass and weeds grew out of control. Also used for dog bathroom.
Solution: Clear weeds and sod, lay landscape fabric, and mulch generously. Looks much cleaner. I hope the dog likes it!

A little rearranging of the planting design from traditional rectangular shapes surrounding the backyard, to the addition of some softer curving edge lines. Add a sitting area underneath the new crabapple, a few new flagstone paths, and fresh mulch to finish it all off.

Here is the before/after of a new construction home in the West suburbs. Wanting to get some landscaping installed and clean up the look, we put in area for planting all around the house with Limestone mulching and black edging. Then in the front, a larger garden bed with a retaining wall, brown mulch, and colorful flowering plants and shrubs. Enjoy!

This client was having some erosion problems in the alleyway, and wanted to spruce it up a bit with a cleaner look. Replacing loose flagstone type pavers with simple but effective retaining wall keeps everything in place. Looks nice

While I normally try to create and not destroy, these unfortunate and ancient crab apples were a disaster waiting to happen. Rotting from the inside out, and growing in unpridictable directions close to homes, it was a good time to take them down.

This page has unfortunately become a ghostown!! While last year I only completed a couple projects and did not post any adverts or pictures of that work, I am well underway this season with several accepted bids. Those of you following my page, I am so appreciative of the outreach you provide me.
If you or anyone you know has any landscape need, please send my name, number, page, or e-mail their way. I am so excited to be outside again after a very fulfilling, though long, two semesters of schoolwork.

Here is a project I installed for a client in early June. She had a major issue of standing water in the back of her back yard (which was all grass along the chain link fence) even before we were hit with so many torrential rains! So I took out all the sod (manually kicked all 600 sq. feet of it) and dug two depressions to hold all the runoff coming from the slope of her backyard. In the garden we planted hydrophilic plants, most native, Joe Pye W**d, Coneflower, Asters, Big Bluestem, and sedums. On a trellis by the shed we planted a clematis, and for shrubs we planted hydrangeas, lilacs and a magnolia tree. More pictures in my photos!
If any one else is discovering any water issues with all this rain, please call message or e-mail me and we'll get something figured out for you too!!

Hello Everyone. Weather is looking up and so am I. Please keep passing on the word about my work to friends and family in the Metro Area so I can keep filling up my schedule for the season. I will be out of school soon and look forward to getting to work!
On another note, I have made a small change to my e-mail address, and much to the chagrin of everyone it is one character longer, I apologize for that.
Please contact me at

I believe this represents the work that I do a little bit better, and matches the title of my page. Thanks everyone!
