I didn’t start my painting business to get rich. I didn’t start it to create a massive company that constantly scales and grows. I didn’t even start it for myself. I started for this reason. I started so I would have the freedom to decide last minute to take my kids to the fair and spend a whole day investing time in my family. I started so I could be available to go to my daughter’s dance class every week. I started so I could be home for bedtime every single night. I started so I wouldn’t have to miss any more time with my kids than I absolutely have to.
Success can be defined however you want to define it. I define success in my business as the ability to provide financial support while simultaneously being the most present father I can be. This of course would not be possible without the support of my friends and family. Whether you have hired me or just supported online by sharing and recommending me to your friends and family, thank you. Thank you for helping me be the business owner, but most importantly, the dad that I want to be. I am so grateful.
