Getting a little personal today ✨

I don’t often share my story, but I think it’s important you know the heart behind the work I do. Behind every organized space is someone who deeply believes in the power of home—not just as a physical place, but as a feeling of safety, belonging, and peace.

My values shape everything: how I show up for clients, the care I put into each space, and why I’m so affected (and often take breaks from this platform) when I see people treated without dignity. I know many of you are feeling the weight of this moment too—the uncertainty, the heaviness of what’s happening in our world. I see you, and I want you to know that what you’re feeling matters.

Home organization has become my way of creating something meaningful in a world that sometimes feels overwhelming. When everything outside feels chaotic, having a space that feels calm and yours can be a small but powerful anchor.

Home Organization: Holiday Edition 🍪✨
This week we did a light touch-up for a family we helped at move-in… and honestly?
They’ve done such a great job maintaining their space.

Their baking area — with everything from pies to cupcakes to icing and cake tools — didn’t need a full reset.
It just needed a little refresh.
And that’s the magic of a well-set system.

Home Organization Reminder ✨
December is the perfect month for a playroom edit.
(And yes — your kids can actually help.)

Here’s my go-to hack for getting kids to clean out their own playroom without tears:

First — I always go in alone.
Before I ask my kids to decide anything, I do the mental heavy lifting for them.

I empty bins that are full of random stuff and lay everything out into broad categories:
🧩 Puzzles
🎲 Games
🧸 Dolls + action figures
🧱 Legos
📚 Books
…and so on.

Then I bring them in and ask simple questions like:
“Do you still like this category?”
“Do you still play with this?”

When kids walk into a messy playroom with no structure, they’re instantly overwhelmed — and overwhelm always leads to “I want to keep everything.”

But when they can see their toys grouped clearly, you’ll usually get much more honest answers.
