Roof is done - next come the steps & a ramp We used a Japanese wood burning technique called Shou Sugi Ban to create the charred patterns on the underside of the roof sheeting

Timbertech decking is done and the posts for the roof are installed and ready for the glu-lam beams & rafters So far everything except the decking has been constructed using reclaimed materials

The deck is framed, joists taped and decking goes down tomorrow Then a roof for shade from the summer sun
