St. Augustine is not grown from seed. There is no legitimate bag of St. Augustine seed that can be spread into your yard to create a new lawn. It is installed as sod — in pieces — or sometimes sprigged commercially. That’s it.

If your St. Augustine is thin or struggling, the fix is not a magic bag. It’s correcting soil, drainage, fungus, insects, shade, or compaction. If large areas are gone, they are repaired with matching sod pieces.

This project took us several days to complete but it was well worth it once we flipped the switches on. The pictures do not do it justice. We also did the back yard and got all the pool lights working that had been dead for quite sometime. Unfortunatley, I forgot to take pictures of the back yard. I'll try to get back over there and snap some pics.
