🤠 This home had some damaged trim that was completely dry-rotted and water damaged it had even gotten to the point where critters were getting in and it started to fall apart. After internal repair and some fresh paint on the exterior, it’s looking brand new again! 🧰

🧊 Tip of the Week: Keep the Warmth In & the Cold Out

As colder weather approaches, now is the perfect time to make sure your home is sealed, insulated, and ready to handle dropping temperatures efficiently.

Start by checking around your doors and windows. If you notice any drafts or light coming through, that means warm air is escaping and cold air is finding its way in. Replacing worn weatherstripping or adding a door sweep is an easy, affordable way to improve insulation and reduce heating costs.

Next, inspect your heating vents and returns. Make sure they’re clear of dust, furniture, or rugs so your system can distribute warm air evenly throughout your home. Proper airflow helps your heating system work more efficiently and prevents uneven temperatures.

Lastly, pay attention to the pipes under your sinks, especially those on exterior walls. During cold nights, keeping those cabinet doors open allows warm air to circulate and helps prevent frozen or burst pipes.

Taking care of these small maintenance steps now can prevent costly repairs later and keep your home running smoothly all winter long.
